Alexandria, Va., USA – Today, the International and American Associations for Dental Research (IADR/AADR) published the January 2015 issue of the Journal of Dental Research (JDR), which features a newly-designed look and new subtitle: “The journal for dental, oral and craniofacial research.”
In this 94th volume year of the JDR, the new subtitle more comprehensively captures the evolution of dental research to include oral and craniofacial advances. This expanded scope is consistent with contemporary broad-based research our journal seeks out and publishes.
“We appreciate the many stakeholders of the Journal of Dental Research who have responded in kind to our surveys regarding the new journal style launched in the 94th volume year,” said JDR Editor William Giannobile. “We hope our readers enjoy the new look of the Journal and will continue to support it through reading, submitting and reviewing research advances disseminated by the JDR.”
Another recent change to the JDR is that it now uses the Council of Science Editors (CSE) 8th edition editorial style, Scientific Style and Format. All manuscripts should be formatted in the CSE style, which is the most recognized, authoritative reference for authors, editors, publishers, students, and translators in all areas of science and related fields.
