Midmark Corp. has announced the release of a next generation of connected dental operatory systems and smart mechanical room equipment, representing a significant development within its dental portfolio.
The updated operatory platform includes a newly designed Midmark Dental Chair, Dental Delivery System and Dental LED Light. According to the company, the system was developed using a human-centered design approach, with an emphasis on connectivity, reliability and long-term performance. The integrated configuration is intended to support musculoskeletal health, patient comfort and clinical workflow efficiency within the operatory environment.
“This launch marks the beginning of a new era for Midmark Dental,” said Michael Couch, marketing director for Midmark Dental. “We’re not just refreshing equipment—we’re redefining what integration, ergonomic design and high performance mean in the modern dental environment.”
In addition to operatory updates, Midmark has expanded its mechanical room platform with the Midmark Smart Air Compressor and Midmark Smart G-Vacuum. These connected systems are designed to provide real-time equipment visibility and performance monitoring, with the goal of supporting preventive maintenance and reducing unplanned downtime.
“The mechanical room may be out of sight, but it’s the heart of the practice. When everything’s running, you don’t think about it—but when something goes wrong, it throws off the entire day,” said Dr. Oleson of Dublin Endodontics in Ohio. “With Midmark Smart Mechanicals, I can see what’s happening with my equipment and get notified right away if something isn’t right. That visibility helps me get back up and running faster so I can focus on my patients, not the equipment.”
The company noted that these operatory and mechanical room developments, along with the next generation of Midmark Steam Sterilizers, form the foundation of an expanded dental systems approach focused on integrated clinical environments and connected technologies.
“We’re excited to support dental practices with an advanced, future-ready clinical ecosystem,” added Couch. “This is just the beginning. You’ll continue to see innovations from Midmark that expand how dental teams interact with their equipment, their patients and their data.”
