Archy announced the launch of its mobile application for iPhone and Android, expanding access to its practice management system beyond desktop environments. According to the company, the release provides dental teams with phone-based access to scheduling, patient communication, clinical notes, and imaging while away from the office.
According to the company, the application was designed to address situations when patient needs arise outside normal office hours, including questions, emergencies, and schedule changes. The company stated that many practices rely on systems tied to office-based computers or limited remote options, which can restrict timely responses.
According to the company, the mobile application allows dental teams to text patients directly without using personal phone numbers, view complete patient records including appointments, treatment notes, and high-resolution X-rays, and manage schedules by viewing, booking, editing, or moving appointments from a phone interface, with these functions available within a single application.
The company stated that the intent of the release is to provide flexibility rather than extend work hours, allowing users to check schedules, respond to messages, or review information when it fits their workflow.
"When a patient needs you, you shouldn't have to be sitting at a computer to help," said Jonathan Rat, ceo of Archy. "This isn't about being always on, it's about having the choice. You can check in when it works for you, handle what matters, and move on with your day."
According to the company, additional capabilities are planned for future updates, with the goal of extending more system functions to phone-based access for use chairside, at home, or while traveling.
The company stated that the application is available to current customers through the App Store and Google Play.
