Solmetex, LLC announced the acquisition of ReLeaf, a company focused on hands-free, high-volume evacuation systems used during hygiene and clinical dental procedures.
According to the announcement, the acquisition is intended to broaden Solmetex’s offerings related to patient safety, aerosol management, and procedural efficiency for dental practices in the United States and internationally. The combined portfolio is expected to support the needs of both independent dental practices and Dental Service Organizations.
ReLeaf is known for its hands-free isolation and evacuation technologies designed to assist with aerosol reduction and operatory efficiency. With this acquisition, ReLeaf’s products will be integrated into Solmetex’s existing portfolio of dental safety and compliance solutions.
Gene Dorff, Solmetex Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Bringing ReLeaf into the Solmetex family strengthens our platform of patient safety and efficiency solutions. Their intuitive, hands-free evacuation technology complements our existing portfolio and helps us support a wider range of clinical needs. We’re excited to partner with the ReLeaf team as we continue helping practices deliver exceptional patient care.”
Phil Fraser, CEO of ReLeaf, added, “We are excited to become part of the Solmetex family. Solmetex has a long history of superior customer service and working with the Dental industry. Over the past several years, Solmetex has invested to expand their sales, marketing, and customer service teams, making this the right time for ReLeaf to join Solmetex. Together we will be able to make the ReLeaf product line more accessible to dental offices in the United States and Canada.”
Solmetex noted that it is supported by multiple private equity firms that provide strategic and operational resources. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The company indicated that ReLeaf products will continue to be supported as they are incorporated into Solmetex’s broader product portfolio.
