Elevate Oral Care has announced the launch of Allday 5000 Sensitive Toothpaste, a new prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste formulated without sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB).
According to the company, the toothpaste uses the same glycolipid surfactant technology found in the original Allday 5000 Toothpaste to create a mild, foaming experience similar to that of over-the-counter options. Allday 5000 Sensitive contains 38% xylitol and 5% potassium nitrate to address sensitivity while delivering 5000 parts per million fluoride protection.
Elevate Oral Care stated that the product was developed in response to the high percentage of patients classified as moderate to high caries risk and who may also experience sensitivity. The company said the formulation is intended to make daily use of prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste more comfortable for these patients.
Elevate Oral Care, based in Florida, develops preventive dental products distributed through dental professionals.
