Dentlytec, which specializes in diagnostic technologies for periodontal care, has rebranded as LuminX™. The updated identity reflects an evolution in the company’s strategic direction while maintaining continuity in leadership and core clinical offerings.
According to Wayne Craig, CEO of LuminX, “LuminX embodies our mission to bring light, clarity, and innovation to dental diagnostics while expanding our global reach.”
The rebrand includes a refreshed corporate identity and a new website, www.LuminXsmile.com, which serves as the central hub for clinical and product information.
LuminX is placing increased emphasis on global engagement, including new partnerships and expanded market initiatives outside the United States.
Despite the brand change, the original leadership team—comprised of clinical experts and technologists—continues to guide the company. The rebranding does not impact existing customer agreements, partnerships, or the underlying technology.
The company’s flagship product, previously known as the DIGIprobe™, has been renamed the LuminX Probe™. This diagnostic platform integrates artificial intelligence, 3D imaging, and computational optical imaging with the aim of enhancing clinical precision in detecting and monitoring periodontal disease.
The LuminX Probe is currently in the pre-FDA approval phase, with a US market launch anticipated in early 2026. Dr. Vivek Solanki, a periodontist and senior clinical advisor to the company, noted: “As a periodontist, the LuminX Probe will be a game changer. This is the first time we have a platform that enables us to communicate disease severity to patients so clearly.”
As part of its US expansion, the company is establishing a headquarters in Arizona, building out its leadership team, and forming new collaborations with dental service organizations (DSOs). “As we ramp up toward commercial readiness in the US, we are excited to unveil our rebranding—an important step in building our infrastructure, which includes strengthening our US leadership team, establishing our headquarters in Arizona, and deepening relationships with leading DSOs across the country,” said Craig.
The new branding and visual identity were developed in collaboration with the Personify Group. Mark Ross, Co-Founder and Chief Branding Officer of the agency, commented, “LuminX is the perfect partner for the Personify Group. They are a dental technology disruptor and understand the importance of getting their corporate identity right. Through open collaboration, we helped them develop an authentic brand story, which led to the development of their name and corporate identity.”
