Two-day program in Palma de Mallorca will focus on collaboration and digital workflows in dentistry
exocad, an Align Technology, Inc. company, has announced that its next global event, Insights 2026, will take place April 30 to May 1, 2026, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. According to the company, the event will center on multidisciplinary digital dentistry and international collaboration under the theme “Calling all heroes.”
According to exocad, the two-day gathering will include lectures from international speakers and company experts, breakout sessions for dental technicians and clinicians, and an Innovation Expo featuring solutions and product demonstrations from more than 50 dental companies.
“Insights 2026 is about bringing the global dental community together in one incredible event,” said Novica Savic, CCO and managing director at exocad. “With many thought-leading speakers and the vast array of partners on board, this event will be more diverse and inspiring than ever. We’re expecting more than 850 digital dentistry heroes to join us in Palma for two unforgettable days of learning, networking, and dental excellence.”
Speakers for the event include Caroline Kirkpatrick of Scotland, a clinical dental technician, who will present on expanding the role of crown and bridge technicians in removable restorations. Seth Potter, a digital designer and Independent Certified Trainer for exocad from Canada, will discuss how smile design can impact business development.
Dr. Zhiqiang Luo, a dentist and clinical instructor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, will speak on the digital patient, and Prof. Marco Tallarico, a dentist and assistant professor in dental prosthesis at the University of Sassari in Italy, will present an interdisciplinary workflow integrating exocad ART and exoplan®.
Other confirmed speakers include Lukas Wichnalek, a dental technician based in Germany and Mexico and founder of HIGHFIELD.DESIGN, who will introduce a standardized approach for patient data acquisition using TruSmile™ tools. Dr. Alexis Ioannidis, head of fixed reconstructive dentistry at the University of Zurich, and dentist Michaela Sehnert of Germany will explore communication-centered workflows and the exocad digital platform.
According to the company, Insights 2026 will also feature a new initiative: the introduction of a “partner country.” Each future Insights event will highlight a different country to promote regional exchange and perspectives. For 2026, China has been named as the event’s partner country.
Ticket sales will open on September 1, 2025. A limited number of super early bird tickets will be available at a discounted price of 299 euros plus VAT through October 31, 2025. The company stated that there will be special pricing for dental teams and students. Tickets will cover access to all sessions and the evening event, “exoGlam night.”
