Bob Fontana, chairman and CEO of The Aspen Group, has been named the 2025 Dental Titan at the Dykema DSO Conference. The award recognizes Fontana’s impact on dental support organizations and his work expanding access to dental care over several decades. The award was presented by Brian Colao, director of Dykema’s Dental Support Organizations Industry Group.
“This award is a reflection of the extraordinary teams I’ve had the honor to work with throughout my career,” Fontana said. “Together, we've built something special: A scalable platform that empowers healthcare professionals and removes barriers for the patients they serve.”
Fontana founded Aspen Dental in 1998 in Syracuse, New York. He grew the brand into a network of independently owned and operated dental practices that now serve millions of patients annually.
The Aspen Group was later created to support expansion into other healthcare sectors. The company reports it currently supports more than 1,400 locations across 48 states, including practices under Aspen Dental®, ClearChoice®, WellNow®, Chapter Aesthetic Studio℠, and Lovet Pet Health Care.
The Aspen Group provides infrastructure and support for healthcare providers operating across dental, urgent care, aesthetic, and veterinary services.
The Dental Titan Award is given annually to individuals whose leadership and service have had a lasting impact on the dental profession. Fontana’s recognition highlights his contributions to developing scalable practice models and expanding access for patients.
