Henry Schein, Inc. announced the release of its ACCLEAN Cordless Hygiene Handpiece on August 6, 2025. The device is available exclusively through the company.
According to the company, the handpiece weighs less than 113 grams and includes a high output torque motor that is designed to maintain speed under pressure. The unit features a brushless motor intended for extended performance life and a cordless design that supports maneuverability during procedures. Additional features include a silicone sleeve for grip security, six adjustable speed settings, and a customizable color band for identification. A wireless foot pedal for hands-free speed control is also available.

According to the company, the handpiece is compatible with most disposable prophy angles, including ACCLEAN Disposable Prophy Angles. These are individually wrapped and manufactured with high-strength plastic components and a gear design to support torque. A sample pack of the disposable angles is included with each unit.
The ACCLEAN Cordless Hygiene Handpiece also includes a removable and autoclavable nosecone, and it comes with two removable, rechargeable batteries. According to the company, the battery design is intended to provide sufficient power for an entire day of use. The product includes a two-year warranty.
