Nobel Biocare has entered into a new distribution partnership with 3Shape, according to a June 23, 2025, Nobel Biocare press release. This collaboration will make Nobel Biocare an official distributor of 3Shape's TRIOS® intraoral scanners—an expansion of its digital dentistry portfolio that Nobel believes will allow it to deliver even greater value to dental professionals worldwide.
Bringing together 3Shape's innovative scanning technology, which is widely recognized for its accuracy, ease of use, and patient-friendly experience, with Nobel Biocare's trusted heritage in implant-based restorations and prosthetics will allow Nobel to offer customers a digital workflow that is streamlined from the scan to delivery of the final restoration.
In the press release, Nobel Biocare emphasizes that the DEXIS IS scanner will remain a core element of the company’s offerings and affirms the strength of its strategic partnership with DEXIS. Adding 3Shape’s TRIOS intraoral scanners will allow Noble to enhance the range of cutting-edge tools that it makes available to dental professionals; however, the company also believes that the move reaffirms its pledge to quality care and innovation and hopes that it will instill confidence among its customers and key stakeholders, including its Envista investors.
