DentScribe.ai has introduced a new feature called DentScribe CoPilot, designed to assist dental professionals by automatically generating personalized checklists for each patient visit. The tool is now available as part of the DentScribe platform.
DentScribe CoPilot builds on the company’s existing AI technology, which transcribes dentist-patient conversations and generates SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes. This new functionality reviews those notes and produces a checklist outlining treatment needs, follow-ups, and additional care considerations.
The checklist appears within the DentScribe application as soon as a patient’s appointment is accessed, allowing dental professionals to view pending treatments, unresolved issues, and preventive care needs without manually reviewing prior documentation.

CoPilot is designed to identify relevant clinical indicators from previous notes. For instance, if earlier documentation includes mentions of dental crowding or bruxism, the system may prompt the provider to consider further evaluation, such as an intraoral scan for orthodontic treatment or a nightguard.
