Dentulu, a digital platform focused on dental services and technology, has partnered with Eve Financial to launch Dentulu Pay, a new patient financing tool intended for dental offices and Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) throughout the United States. The platform aims to simplify the financing process for both dental providers and patients, especially in a changing economic environment.
Dentulu Pay allows patients to apply for dental loans ranging from $500 to $70,000 through a single application process. Unlike traditional financing models that may require multiple applications to different lenders, this platform connects users with a network of lenders simultaneously. It uses a soft credit check, which does not affect credit scores, and supports applicants with various credit profiles, including those using Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) rather than Social Security numbers.
According to Dentulu, the goal is to streamline what can be a time-consuming process for office staff, who often manage several third-party financing systems. Dentulu's founder, Dr. Arash Hakhamian, stated that the platform is designed to reduce administrative burden and improve patient acceptance of proposed treatments.
Dentulu Pay presents loan options from multiple lenders through a single interface, drawing comparisons to how travel websites aggregate prices from various airlines. While other established dental financing services such as CareCredit, LendingClub, and Sunbit remain widely used, Dentulu Pay introduces a different model based on broader lender integration and AI-driven automation.
The platform builds upon the work of earlier financial solutions that have helped patients access necessary dental care and assisted practices in managing patient flow. By integrating with existing dental software through APIs, Dentulu Pay is intended to be easily adoptable without requiring major changes to existing workflows.
Eve Financial CEO Isaac Frekleton noted that the partnership draws on previous implementations with large DSOs to offer a range of financing options to practices of various sizes.
Dentulu is also seeking to expand the reach of the platform through partnerships with other businesses in the dental sector, such as software vendors and marketing agencies. The company has stated its interest in open collaboration and revenue-sharing opportunities for partners.
