Air Techniques is introducing its latest imaging system, the VistaPano S 2.0, at CDA Presents the Art and Science of Dentistry in Anaheim, California. The company also is presenting the AirStar Flex compressor system during the event.
According to the company, the VistaPano S 2.0 is a next-generation panoramic and cephalometric X-ray unit that incorporates advanced S-Pan and CsI sensor technologies. It is designed to improve image clarity and diagnostic reliability across a variety of patient anatomies. The system captures 2D panoramic images of tooth and jaw positions and features a modern 8-inch glass touch interface that enables users to select X-ray programs and patient sizes, with the goal of reducing input errors and improving workflow.
The cephalometric version, the VistaPano S Ceph 2.0, includes dual integrated CsI sensors, which, according to the company, eliminate the need for manual sensor changes between exposures. The unit also features customizable ambient lighting settings intended to help create a more comfortable clinical environment.
The system was developed through a collaboration between Air Techniques and Dürr Dental SE. Both companies are involved in digital diagnostic technology development for dental practices.
Air Techniques also is highlighting the AirStar Flex at the Anaheim meeting. According to the company, the AirStar Flex is designed to offer scalability for dental practices by providing two compressor models — the AirStar 50 Flex and the AirStar 70 Flex — that can be upgraded as practice needs change. The system is intended to provide a long-term solution without requiring full system replacement.
“With the integration of AI and a focus on simplicity, our latest products deliver powerful diagnostic capabilities and flexibility in a user-friendly design — bringing advanced technology within easy reach,” says Scott Borden, Air Techniques vice president, North American sales and marketing. “We’re proud to build on our legacy with solutions that offer exceptional value, precision, and ease of use.”
