Pulpdent Corporation has announced the appointment of Julia Berk Pirro to its executive team. Berk Pirro will lead key growth initiatives as the company continues its commitment to providing high-quality dental products.
Berk Pirro’s background includes roles in healthcare, strategy, and business development. Prior to joining Pulpdent, she served as director of commercialization and senior product manager at CVS Health, where she developed patient-centric care models in collaboration with various stakeholders. She also worked at Mathematica Policy Research on public health initiatives, including the Oral Health Initiative. Berk Pirro holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Berk Pirro’s role will also connect her with Pulpdent’s family legacy. The company was founded in 1947 by her grandfather, Dr. Harold Berk, who pioneered advances in vital pulp therapy. Berk Pirro’s father, Donald Berk, further contributed to Pulpdent’s growth by overseeing the company’s U.S.-based manufacturing expansion.

Berk Pirro will begin her work at Pulpdent immediately, with a key focus on the global launch of ACTIVA™ BioACTIVE™ Bulk Flow at the International Dental Show in Cologne, Germany, scheduled for March 25 to 29, 2025.
