Pac-Dent, Inc. has introduced the Promin™ F Desensitizing Paste, a new product designed to address enamel degradation and tooth sensitivity. The paste uses an innovative technology called Calcium Phosphate Ionic Clusters (CPICs) to help restore and strengthen the enamel surface.
CPICs are engineered to penetrate the microscopic pores and defects in demineralized enamel, where they facilitate the remineralization process by forming new hydroxyapatite crystallites. This mineral structure, which is the natural composition of teeth, aids in rebuilding enamel more effectively than traditional remineralization methods.
The Promin™ F Desensitizing Paste also works in synergy with fluoride, helping to further strengthen enamel and improve its resistance to acid attacks from plaque and food sources. The paste is available with or without fluoride, offering dental professionals flexibility in treatment options.
In addition to its remineralization benefits, the paste reduces dental sensitivity by occluding exposed dentinal tubules, providing relief for patients who experience discomfort from sensitive teeth.
Promin™ F is part of Pac-Dent’s growing portfolio of preventive dental care products. With more than 30 years in the dental industry, Pac-Dent continues to develop solutions that support oral health and patient care.
