Proclaim™ Custom-Jet Oral Health System has announced new developments in its mission to transform oral health with its Custom-Jet Oral Health System. The company, based in Mountain View, California, which launched its product in 2024, has raised new capital and expanded its national dental partner network while welcoming Egbert van Acht, former CEO of Philips Personal Health, to its Board of Directors.
The new capital infusion, supported by investors including Khosla Ventures, Global Asset Capital, Ensemble Innovation Ventures, SpringRock, G.E.H.A., and The 4100 Group, will enable Proclaim to continue its growth and market expansion, the company announced. The company’s product development and customer experience efforts will benefit from the additional funds, which are focused on bridging the gap between oral health and overall wellness through personalized solutions, the company said.
“Our business growth over the past year has been remarkable,” said Heberto Calves, CEO of Proclaim. “We’ve scaled our operations, expanded partnerships, and made our product more accessible—all while driving transformative change in oral health through technology.”
Proclaim’s flagship product, the Proclaim Custom-Jet Oral Health System, has achieved strong consumer demand since pre-orders began in late 2023 and shipments commenced in early 2024, the company reported. The company has sold thousands of units and expanded its dental provider network to over 700 practices nationwide. Additionally, Proclaim reduced the price of the system by 25%, from $799 to $599, at the end of 2024, making it more accessible to U.S. families.
Egbert van Acht brings extensive experience to the company’s leadership. As the former CEO of Philips’ Personal Health division, van Acht was responsible for over $7 billion in global sales, including overseeing the growth of Philips Sonicare. His addition to the board is expected to further solidify Proclaim’s position in the competitive oral health market.
Proclaim’s use of digital scanning, 3D printing, and fluid dynamics has positioned the company at the forefront of the industry. Clinical studies have demonstrated that the Proclaim system can reduce gingival bleeding by up to 82%, inflammation by up to 41%, and plaque by up to 34%, providing professional-level cleanings in just seven seconds.
With plans to introduce new innovations in 2025, the company aims to continue expanding its product offerings and further enhance its impact on oral health and wellness.
