Across 65 studies from 30 countries, including more than 60,000 individuals between the ages of 6 and 79, researchers found a link between socioeconomic status and tooth wear.
The prevalence of at least one sealed permanent molar in children 6 to 8 years has more than doubled in the last 20 years, from 14% to 31%.
